Gayle C. Howard, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Gayle C. Howard has practiced at Eye Physicians Medical/Surgical Center since 2007. She attended medical school at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She completed an internship at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Dr. Howard completed her residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine, and a Fellowship in glaucoma at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Dr. Howard is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, the San Diego County Medical Society, the San Diego Eye Bank and the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Howard and her husband have two children.

 

Kara E. Jones, M.D.

Dr. Kara Jones

Dr. Kara Jones is a board-eligible ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, cornea, and anterior segment surgery. She completed advanced fellowship training at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia after serving as chief resident during her ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville. Dr. Jones is passionate about restoring vision and improving other's quality of life through vision enhancement. She combines meticulous surgical skill with a warm, patient-centered approach, ensuring each person feels heard, informed, and confident in their treatment plan.

She is thrilled to be practicing in Southern California and to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional eye care. Outside the clinic and operating room, Dr. Jones enjoys running, baking, traveling abroad, and spending time with her golden retriever, Lemon. Dr. Jones is professionally associated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Cornea Society, and the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Tania Kaczanowski, O.D.

Dr. Tania Kaczanowski has practiced at Eye Physicians Medical/Surgical Center since 1999. She attended optometry school at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Kaczanowski performs routine eye health screenings, and prescribes glasses and contact lenses.  She excels in fitting specialty contact lenses for irregular corneas.

 

Farrah Sitto, O.D.

Dr. Farrah Sitto graduated from Southern California College of Optometry and earned her optometry degree with Magna Cum Laude Honors. She went on to complete her residency in ocular disease at VA Cincinnati Medical Eye Center in Cincinnati, Ohio serving the veterans. Dr. Sitto excels in both treatment and management of ocular disease with emphasis on glaucoma, dry eye disease, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetes.
